Practical, Outcome-Focused Counseling For A Happier, More Productive Life
Welcome!
For Individuals
There are many different reasons that people come for therapy. Whatever the particular concern, all clients who seek counseling share two things in common: they are aware that something in their lives is not working for them and would like things to change so they can feel better.
I collaborate with adults and couples of all cultures, races, ethnicities, orientations, and backgrounds who are confronting challenges that get in the way of living a more satisfying, productive life. In a safe, confidential environment, we will work together to help you understand more about how your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and repetitive patterns have you feeling stuck and emotionally distressed, and to develop different and healthier ways of responding to the challenges you are facing.
My prior career as a litigation attorney informs my work with those in the legal field and others who are in high stress professions. Having spent more than two decades in the legal world, I am keenly aware of the grueling pressure, loss of control, and dissatisfaction that many (not just lawyers!) experience in the workplace. Unrelenting expectations and pressure to avoid showing any vulnerability often result in self-sabotaging behaviors, relationship strain, and burnout. In our confidential sessions, you can safely let your guard down, and we can address your specific concerns and goals.
My background also enables me to help clients currently embroiled in litigation, whether it is divorce, business litigation, or malpractice. Involvement in litigation is an extremely stressful event and it is imperative that you maintain your psychological health in order to remain effective in the proceedings in which you are involved. Having support at this time can be very valuable.
For Law Firms
In addition to my private practice, I provide consulting services (around mental health and wellness issues) and on-site counseling to attorneys and law firm staff. Consultations vary based on firms' needs and can focus on creating a better mental health environment, identifying the signs of someone struggling with mental health/substance abuse challenges, and navigating difficult conversations when a colleague may not be performing competently.

I look forward to hearing from you!
